Invitation from the Brookline 4th of July Parade Committee
Brookline NH - The tradition of the Brookline July 4th Parade
continues this year sponsored by the Brookline Lions Club. The
Brookline 4th of July Parade Committee cordially invites you,
your organization, committee, club, neighborhood, non-profit
organization, board, business, family, etc. to participate in
our Parade!
Build a float, be a clown, decorate your vehicle, decorate your
bike, ride a horse, drive a tractor, pilot your boat (on a
trailer, of course)... whatever you can imagine can be in the
Parade! Join us in celebrating our Independence. Every year the
Parade grows and grows better, because people like you get out
and get involved.
As in past years, the Parade will start on the southern end of
Main Street at 10:00 am the morning of Independence Day with a
fly-over by the "Brookline Air Force". It will continue north
up the flag be-decked Main Street of Brookline with floats,
antique cars, town emergency vehicles, bicycles, marchers,
costumed characters, etc. Viewers are welcome on either side of
the street. Additional parade participants are encouraged and
should plan to arrive at the southern end of Main Street
before 9:30 am that morning. Parade volunteers will
direct parade participants where to line up.
Thanks to all who participated last year - it was a BLAST! We
look forward to seeing you again this year. If you would like
to participate in the Parade, join our volunteers, or get more
information, feel free to contact BD Handspicker at 321-4501 or
bdhandspicker@yahoo.com.
