The Brookline School Board is currently searching for someone to fill an opening on the school board. This empty seat will need to be filled until the town and school elections in March. The person appointed by the board will only serve for two months and then the seat will be up for election for the next two years of the original term.
We are asking that if you are interested in filling this seat to please send a letter of intent, including reasons why you interested, to Doris Lindgren at the SAU office (lindgrend@sau41.k12.nh.us). All letters must reach Doris by the end of the day on Friday, January 21.
The board will then meet and hopefully pick a replacement that can be sworn in and join us for our meeting on January 25. We know this is an aggressive plan but it is what we are going to attempt to do.
