        Books
Thanks to the generosity of the Hollis Brookline Rotary, the library has a language series available on Playaway -- MP3 format. The Rotary’s donation enabled the library to purchase ten different language programs including Arabic, French, German, Greek, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. The Pimsleur Language Programs are well-known and highly-regarded language courses offered by Recorded Books. Available on Playaway, a “lightweight, compact, easy-to-use player,” each comes with one language course already downloaded.

Seeking Magazine Sponsors

In addition to sponsoring books, the library is now seeking patrons who are willing to donate the annual cost of one of our currently held magazines. The subscriptions range from about $12 to $20 per year, with a few costing more. Over twenty new titles just added!

If you’re interested in sponsoring a specific magazine, please stop by and peruse the library's current magazine selections or check out the list online. You may also call the library to set-up sponsorship. Magazine sponsors will receive recognition for his/her gift as well as the option of checking out the sponsored magazine first.
