Survey Subcommittee (SS)

An electronic version of the survey was drafted and sent to all members of the Survey Committee first, then to the Steering Committee for everyone to ÒtestÓ it and provide input.

Most of tonightÕs meeting was dedicated to provide final comments on the survey prior to the next Survey Committee meeting.

During the next SS, members will finalize the survey, electronic and paper versions, and work on the marketing.

The paper version of the survey should keep the title on top of the page

Forum Subcommittee (FS)

The Forum will be held at RMMS on October 22, 2010, starting at 6:30 pm. Alan said that the After School program runs until 6:00 pm and this will leave only ½ hour to set up chairs, and all necessary tools and documents. Maps should be available to help the public. Jill said that the NRPC could take care of printing them.

Alan said that the LionsÕ Club could not prepare the spaghetti dinner anymore but the FS talked to local supermarket and obtained donations. Since there is no peanut policy in place at RMMS, it will be easier for volunteers to bring food.

Sylvia Mansfield has offered her time to take care of the babysitting. Parents leaving their children will Sylvia will be reminded that they will have to stay at the Forum, not go out for dinner!

Website Subcommittee (WS)

Alan said that Lynne Abt has set up a page on the Brookline website for the Master Plan update. She will take care of updating the MP Website once she receives the information already collected since the work has started. The survey will be available on the MP website as soon as it is finalized.
