Services offered to serve the needs of Brookline seniors:
Come join us for coffee, conversation, lunch and catch up on what’s going on in the community. On occasion we have speakers with information of interest to the group as well as health related clinics. We thank the town of Brookline for providing the perfect gathering place! When: 10am on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month
- The 2nd Tuesday is usually a “Potluck Lunch” (bring your favorite to share) at Brusch Hall, 36 Main Street. 2017 dates are: March 14th, April 11th, May 9th, June 13th, July 11th, August 8th, Sept 12th, Oct 10th, Nov 14th,and Dec 12th
- The 4th Tuesday is lunch at an area restaurant, which is selected at the prior meeting. Usually reservation is for 11:30. 2017 dates are: March 28th, April 25th, May 23rd, June 27th, July 25th, August 22nd, Sept 26th, Oct 24th, and Nov 28th.
Home Health & Hospice Care offers “Foot Care Clinics” the second Tuesday, every other month, beginning at 9am. Cost is $28 and appointment required (call 603-882-2941). Stay for coffee and lunch as seen on above "Potluck" dates.
Foot clinic dates for 2017 are: April 11th, June 13th, August 8th, Oct 10th and Dec 12th.

If you or someone you know could benefit from a nutritious mid-day meal on a daily basis, the Meals on Wheels (MOW) program serves lunch at the Milford VFW Hall, 1 Perkins Street, Milford NH at 12:00 pm Monday through Friday, or you can sign up for home delivery.

Souhegan Valley Rides is a curb-to-curb, dial-a-ride type bus service available to residents of Amherst, Brookline, Hollis, Milford, and Mont Vernon NH. Rides are provided within the towns and to and from Nashua for healthcare and social service appointments, shopping, and other essential activities such as senior activity centers, town offices and the library.
Operating Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Must schedule at least 48 hours in advance.
Cost: $2 bus fare each way. For those who cannot afford the $2 bus fare, please call 673-3828 to contact Ann Webb, Brookline’s Welfare Agent, who will provide bus passes when needed.
