COMMUTER Rail line Parking in Ayer
Some residents of Southern New Hampshire commute to the Boston area daily through Ayer, MA, where they can catch a ride on the Fitchburg commuter rail line. In recent years, Ayer has been working with the Montachusett Area Rail Transit (MART) to use federal transportation funds to plan and build parking facilities near the station. Here is an update on the progress toward the Town’s parking goals that was prepared for the Ayer Public Access Channel and shared with Brookline.
Important Legal Obligation for Property Owners
The Governor’s Commission on Disability receives many complaints from residents who have trouble using accessible parking spaces and access aisles during the winter months. Read the notice here that outlines the legal obligation that property owners have to keep their accessible parking spaces, access aisles and accessible routes clear of snow, ice and other obstructions.

The New England Job Show is a grass-roots undertaking by a group of unemployed people who realized that the current job situation required out-of-box thinking to get a job. They created a local cable access show which is produced entirely by job seekers for job seekers. It has created a lot of excitement both locally and nationally, and most important, it has brought hope to people who are looking for professional positions in a difficult market. You can find out more about the show at http://thejobshow.blogspot.com/ or their website at www.nejobshow.org
